Bottom Right: Blodeuwedd can be seen sitting at a fully upgraded Cooking Pot.

The Cooking Pot is a camp station that can be crafted at the Forge by using 10 Wood Wood and 5 Stone Stone. The Cooking Pot is itself a crafting station that enables you to make Salt Salt and craft higher quality meals which provide greater Hunger Hunger reductions.

Description[ | ]

If you want to make proper meals, you'll need a proper cooking pot!

Uses[ | ]

  • Enables cooking activity for 1 character.
  • Enables Salt making.

Cooking
As with every camps station, a survivor must be placed at it. The only relevant skill is Cooking. The higher the survivor's cooking skill, the lower the chance a recipe will fail and turn into a Crap Meal Crap Meal. There is a chance upon successfully crafting a recipe that the recipe will come out with greater quality. The Weather also impacts cooking results (Which?)

There are 5 available recipes. Note that Cooked Meal is two separate recipes that result in the same thing, so they are merged into a single entry on the following table.

Icon Name Components
Roasted Meat Roasted Meat
Fried Fish Fried Fish

Dialogue Upon Completion[ | ]

This dialogue occurs the night after the Cooking Pot has been completed.

Blod-Dialogue-Tag

At last! With this shiny cooking pot I'll be able to cook you real meals!

Moira-Dialogue-Tag

That's a relief... I can't eat raw food anymore. So bland...

Eirik-Dialogue-Tag

It would be good if Kari could learn a thing or two from you honey.

Kari-Dialogue-Tag

Urgh. No thank you. It's a waste of time.

Blod-Dialogue-Tag

You'll learn Kari. Women must know how to cook. You can't rely on men for that.

Kari-Dialogue-Tag

(Pfff. . . And you don't rely on dad for hunting and protecting the family, right?)

Blod-Dialogue-Tag

For tonight, I took some time to cook something special for everyone. Enjoy your meal!

Blod-Dialogue-Tag

I'll need your help to bring me basic ingredients if you want more.
